Batau Caves, Malaysia

This was my first trip to Malayisa.  Around 20 kms from Capital Kualalumpur, Bata Caves is located.  It is very interesting place and there are lot of tourists visiting Batau.  There is a small temple located inside the caves for Hindu God Subramania.  On the side of the temple cave, there is another long cave called Dark Caves and here there are bats and others birds which are very rare species.  At the bottom of the caves there are many good Indian restaurants. Along with caves, tourists are attracted by lot of mokeys on the way to caves.  It just takes 5 to 10 minutes to go inside the caves climbing all the steps on the way.  Both bus and train service is available from KL to Batau.

Pittsburgh Trip

This is our first US trip. It was in Dec 2008, we suddently thought that we would go to US. We had many places in mind, but we want to go to a place very holy since this is our first visit to US. It was snowing a bit in Toronto, but we pulled our courage and started our two days trip to Pittsburgh Venkateswara temple. We started on Saturday noon and reached the temple around 6.30 pm going though Buffalo. We stayed in the temple the whole evening and later went to our hotel nearby. In the morning, Kalyani wanted to go to temple again as our hotel was very near to the temple. After praying Lord Venkateswara one more time we packed ourself with temple food which was really tasty. We went to see the Pittsburgh downtown and the children museum. On the way we were caught in bad traffic jam as there was some baseball game near the children's museum. After long wait we went to the museum and the kids had a great time. After staying for 3 to 4 hours we started back from Pittsburgh to Toronto. It was really a memorable trip as the weather was exceptionally good than we thought.
